In Serbia the Ministry of Infrastructure has its plans in hand for construction work on the Belgrade-South Adriatic Highway. Contractors will be invited to tender for this €507 million project shortly. The highway will provide an important link for Serbia once it is complete.

Serbian roads to get Chinese funding

Talks between the Chinese Development Bank and the Serbian Government could result in €400-€450 million of Chinese funding for Serbian highway projects. The Danube coast and the Corridor 11 projects are among those earmarked for a potential cash boost. Serbia: Putevi Srbije to build 2.4km of Corridor 11 access road

Serbian road contractor Putevi Srbije will build around 2.4km of access roads around the town of Ljig in central Serbia, according the state Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure. The access roads will be for the Corridor 11 motorway, which is under construction from the Serbian capital Belgrade running southwest into Montenegro, ending at the Adriatic coastal tourist town of Bar.
