The film has been 14 months in the making and has been made to highlight the need for good road safety practice. Its making has been sponsored by DHL,2387 Transport for London, Travis 299 Perkins, 2296 Skanska, Road Operations Safety Council, Wincanton, Wilson James and 3440 AA DriveTech. The film is said to be a creative way for leading transport and logistics companies to work together in raising safety awareness.
The conference meanwhile aims to raise the awareness across leading transport and logistics companies, both passenger and freight, for the need to work together in improving road safety. Its emphasis will be on influencing business to place safety at the top of the business agenda.
Confirmed speakers include: Steve Agg FCILT, Chief Executive, CILT; Jim Spittle FCILT, President, CILT; Beverley1240 Bell FCILT, Senior Traffic Commissioner; Peter Shipp, Chairman, Road Operator Safety Council as well as other leading transport and logistics experts. Adrian Walsh, the director of 3441 ROADSAFE, will be compering the event.
