Enerpac is using Bauma to show off its new generation of multi-functional synchronous lifting systems, called the Evo System. The specialised hydraulic engineering and lifting technology manufacturer is using digitally controlled hydraulics on the Evo units and one standard PLC-controlled hydraulic power unit can be used for nine hydraulic movement functions. The integrated touch screen offers a user friendly interface with logical visual system management and navigation says Enerpac. The hydraulic movement
Evo also allows customers to use their existing standard Enerpac cylinders and key features are a multi-functional system with 8 standard hydraulic movement modes to control most synchronous movement applications and capabilities: manual, pre-load, automatic, retract fast, depressurize, tilting, stage lifting (step-by-step) and centre of gravity; a network capable of linking four hydraulic power units to a separate master control box; easy navigation and access to set-up, movement and software menus; data storage and recording capabilities; wireless remote control; a variable frequency drive motor and Siemens PLC for very precise synchronization and control of oil flow and cylinder stroke and speed; and a 3kW hydraulic power unit.
The company will also use Bauma to promote the new Enerpac Academy, which is a training department designed to help end users find safe and effective ways to work. Training can be done at an Enerpac facility or at the client’s premises.
