France-based 2306 Dubuis is unveiling its new Neoelec in line BPL36 crimping tool at 242 INTERMAT 2012.The company, bought by Stanley Black & Decker in 2006, has designed a crimper with 35kN force and 8mm stroke, weighing 2.1kg and capable of 4-185mm² hexagonal crimping.
The BPL36, controlled by a microprocessor on/off button, comes with an end crimping indicator and an 18V De Walt battery. It’s connected by flash drive for maintenance and has a built-in light for work application.
Speaking at Pre-INTERMAT Frank Oosterlinck, director of Hydraulics Europe at Stanley Black&Decker, said Stanley was looking to generate turnover of $15bn by 2015. The company recorded turnover of $10bn in 2011.
