Morocco has set out its annual road repair budget.
Morocco’s Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water has revealed its annual budget for road maintenance. The sum equates to around 46% of the country’s entire budget for roads, US$337.5 million.
The country has an extensive programme of road development works. New highway extensions are being constructed while existing routes are being widened to reduce congestion. New road links are seeing widening works being carried out in and around Morocco’s key industrial cities, Casablanca and Tangiers, which will boost transport and help develop the country’s economy.
