Vietnam’s North-South Expressway project is key to the country’s future.
A feasibility study has been carried out for a stretch of Vietnam’s important North-South Expressway project. The study is for a 729km section of the expressway and has been put forward by Vietnam’s Ministry of Transport.
The stretch of the route in focus is the Eastern North-South Expressway, which is expected to cost over US$6.5 billion. Construction of the section will be split into 12 separate projects, with construction expected to start towards the end of 2023 and due for completion by the end of 2026.
Four of the sections will be carried out under the PPP model, while eight will be paid for by the Vietnamese Government.
