New rural road and highway conncetions are being planned for South Sudan, in a bid to boost connectivity. The Chinese contractor Shandong Hi-Speed Group Co (SDHS) is to start work on a series of road projects. One link will connect Juba-Terekeka-Yirol with Rumbek, while other road are planned to improve connections between capital Juba and the rest of the country.
