The M76 dual carriageway connecting Zalaegerszeg with Balatonszentgyorgy will be of note as it will feature technology allowing it to be used by autonomous vehicles. The plans also call for a new motorway section connecting Bekescsaba with Debrecen, and running close to the border with Romania.
