The recent Hillhead 2024 quarry show broke attendance records

The organisers of the Hillhead 2024 quarry machinery exhibition claim that this event was the most visited edition ever.

The Hillhead 2024 edition of the show attracted 26,626 visits over the three day period, an increase of 8% over the strong attendance seen in 2022. The data shows that there were record visitors for a single day, while visitors also spent more time at the exhibition.

There were 19,577 unique attendees, an increase of 6.2% compared with 2022. This was the second highest ever number of unique attendees in the event’s history and only 2018 was slightly higher at 19,753. However, the 2018 show had fewer total visitors over the three days.

Meanwhile, the Wednesday was the busiest day ever for the Hillhead exhibition, with almost 10,800 people on site throughout the day. The Hillhead quarry machinery exhibition has been highly innovative since it was first held. Run in a quarry near the town of Buxton in Derbyshire, visitors have the chance to see quarrying machinery of all types both in static mode and also being demonstrated.
