Greek firm GEK Terna is preferred investor for a key highway deal.
The Greek firm GEK Terna is the preferred investor for Greece’s important Attiki Odos beltway. The concession package will be for a 25-year period and will cover financing, operation, maintenance and utilisation.
The firm was nominated as preferred investor for the route by Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (TAIPED). The company made an offer of €3.27 billion for the concession package.
Terna has considerable experience in Greece as a contractor, having built many of the country’s key highway routes.
