More financing has been secured for Vietnam’s US$890 million Ho Chi Minh City to Moc Bai expressway project. The Vietnamese Government is providing the remainder of the financing required for the work.

The new Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to Moc Bai expressway will be built in stages, with the first section measuring 50km. The alignment runs between Ring Road 3 in HCMC's Cu Chi District, spans the Vam Co River and connects to Moc Bai International Border Gate in Tay Ninh Province's Ben Cau District.

The work should start in 2024 and take until 2027 to complete.
