Additional funding will help pay for a new road connection in Egypt. The extra financing was approved by the Ministry of Planning and Economic development.
The funds will be used by the Ministry of transport to improve the Aswan-Al-Alaqi Road. The work will see major improvements being carried out to the route, which will help transport for the area. The work is the latest step by Egypt to revitialise its road network, a programme that has been running for several years
