A loan facility is being provided that will help pay for a key road project in Cameroon. The project will see work being carried out to 358km of roads in Cameroon, improving connectivity.
The US$49.25 million loan is being provided by the African Development Bank (AfDB). This comes in addition to the $207.57 million financing package already supplied by the AdDB for road works in Cameroon.
Essential maintenance and upgrade work will be carried out to a 50km section of road between Misaje-Dumbo and the border with Nigeria, the 96km Nkambe Bypass as well as an 80km stretch between Bamenda and Wum.
