CEMEX USA is providing materials being used in the construction of the Grand Parkway, the planned 290km circumferential highway in Houston, Texas.
The company is supplying more than 92,200tonnes of high-quality cement and more than 157,000m3 of structural and paving ready-mix concrete for the Grand Parkway’s H, I-1, and I-2 segments.
In order to provide a more dependable and efficient service, CEMEX USA permitted and is running a portable mix plant to give crews with joint-venture contractor, GPI, a nearby location to directly access concrete for more than 80km of this busy Texas highway.
