The four-year Project Controls Services contract will see Faithful+Gould provide schedule and cost management across the North West, Yorkshire, North East and Midlands regions.

Faithful+Gould has been appointed by England’s National Highways to support the agency’s US$3 billion (£2.5 billion) Regional Investment Programme in the north of England.

The four-year Project Controls Services contract will see Faithful+Gould - a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group - provide schedule and cost management across the North West, Yorkshire, North East and Midlands regions. Work will deal with issues around safety, congestion and capacity. This includes upgrading national A roads, motorway junctions and link roads, as well as providing new carriageways for motorways and A roads.

“The schemes to be delivered can be complex and varied, our role is to embed predictability and efficiency consistently, to enable successful delivery,” said Gurtej Golar, National Highways client director at Faithful+Gould. “We will harness our existing experience of working with National Highways since 2004…”

The scope of work will be delivered from offices across the Faithful+Gould network including in Nottingham, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Stockton, London, Cardiff and Bristol. There will also be involvement from Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, as Faithful+Gould will draw on its partners and supply chain to be able to deliver the service.
