Despite the work starting later than planned, Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) believes that the original completion date in 2026 will still be met.
The tender process for the first civil contract is now being opened by the LTA. This portion o the project will require the construction of 1km of road tunnels connecting Novena Rise with Suffolk Walk. The work will also include the design and reconstruction of two pedestrian underpasses at Novena.
