A major Serbian bypass project is ahead of schedule.

Construction work on the ring road around Serbia’s capital, Belgrade, is running ahead of schedule. Although the project has proven challenging in many respects, the engineering team has been able to cope with the task according to Serbia’s Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.
The route should be ready for traffic in April 2021, despite delays that occurred earlier in the project. The three tunnel sections have been the most complex portions of the work. Construction is being carried out by AzVirt and Power Construction Corporation China.
