The necessary public meetings have been completed for seven of the nine MBP3 initiative bridges planned for Pennsylvania. These bridges are for I-83 South, I-78 Lenhartsville, I-81 Susquehanna and the four I-80 bridges at Canoe Creek, North Fork, Lehigh River and Nescopeck Creek.

According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), each of these projects is expected to finish the necessary environmental review process during 2022. The respective project teams are now reviewing comments received during the public meetings and completing documentation as required.

In addition, a public hearing will be scheduled for the I-83 South Bridge Project as part of an Environmental Assessment PennDOT is preparing. And public meetings will be scheduled for the two remaining projects in the MBP3 initiative: the I-79 Widening, Bridges and Bridgeville Interchange Project in Allegheny County and the I-95 Girard Point Bridge Improvement Project in Philadelphia.
