A series of road tenders are being planned in Norway. There are five road projects being opened for tender in 2020 and 2021 with a value in excess of €105 million.

The projects are all being offered for tender by Norway’s state-owned road company Nye Veier. The largest of the five projects will be worth €451.5 million, while the average value of the road works opening for tender is €315 million.

One of the projects is for the improvement of a 13km stretch of the E6 route, including a 6.5km tunnel. There will also be an upgrade for the E39 between Kristiansand and Mandal, with the work to widen the route two lanes in either direction being split into two separate contracts. And the widening of the E18 along a 55km stretch into two lanes in either direction will also be split into two separate contracts.
