The tender process is due to open for a large highway project in China. The new road will connect Kunming City with Yuxi City in Yunnan Province in southern China.
The work is expected to cost US$1.83 billion. The project is due for completion in 2027. The 44.6km route will feature a design speed of 100km/h.
