Further construction work is proposed for the India-China Border Roads (ICBR) programme. The Indian Government is looking at building 37 more roads along the  country’s border with China.

The plan for the third phase of ICBR would cost an estimated US$1.58 billion and involve building 875km of roads. The majority of the roads to be built as part of ICBR-III would be constructed in Arunachal Pradesh State in Northeastern India.
