Estonia’s new road project is proving less costly.

A new road project for Estonia is expected to cost less than originally planned. Building the new road section linking Võõbu with Mäo is costing €13 million than was envisaged.

The road stretch was original expected to cost €73 million. However, will nost cost just €60 million. The road features two lanes in either direction and forms part of the new highway connecting capital Tallinn with Tartu.

The section linking Võõbu with Mäo is 17km long. This stretch is due for completion in 2022.
