Atlas Weyhausen wheel loaders have been given a power boost as part of the developments to meet the latest emission standards. The company is showing two of the new machine types, labelled as ‘e’ models, at the stand of its French business partner Payen. The new ‘e’-type wheel loaders have been designed to provide a significant gain in terms of power and performance. Engine outputs now amount to 70kW for the AR 80e and 85kW for the AR 95e at 2,200rpm, representing a power increase of more than 15% for each.

Rapid International is back at INTERMAT for the first time in 12 years with a focus on its Rapid Planetary Mixer. Designed and manufactured in Ireland by Rapid International, the mixer provides “innovation, productivity, pioneering, quality to the manufacture of concrete, in particular architectural precast products, construction and environmental industries”, said Jarlath Gilmore, sales and marketing director. There are seven models in the planetary range with output capacities ranging from 0.375m3 to 3m3
