A US$4.7 billion plans for road maintenance in Mexico
Plans have been set in Mexico for road maintenance works worth a total of US$4.7 billion in 2025. A total of 177 road maintenance contracts should be awarded in 2025.
So far in 2024, a total of 133 tender processes have been carried out for road maintenance packages, organised by the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT). Private firms will enter the tender process for the 177 maintenance contracts according to the Mexican Chamber of Construction Industry (CMIC).
Oaxaca is the Mexican province with the highest number of major road repair works being planned.
