Representatives from leading global construction equipment manufacturers are among those being urged to attend a summit where they can learn how to get involved in US $ 300 billion worth of infrastructure projects, including major road building works, set to take place in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Mega Infrastructure Projects Summit, being held between 16 and 18 September, 2012 at the Riyadh Marriott Hotel, Riyadh, will highlight how $ 29.6 billion alone will be invested in the transport sector under the Ninth Development Plan (NDP).

The National Water Company, 6526 Saudi Electricity Company, 6527 King Abdullah Economic City, and MODON, are among the key industry offices whose senior personnel will be attending the three-day event.

A spokesperson for the summit said: “This is a unique and invaluable opportunity to meet and engage with Saudi Arabia’s government and private sector leaders overseeing the biggest projects market in the Middle East. If you are looking to grow your business in the region – Saudi Arabia is an essential market to break.”
