The outlook from the CECE 2024 congress in Madrid.
At the CECE Congress in Madrid this morning; Ezequiel Navarro, president of the Ricardo Valle Innovation Foundation, made an impassioned plea for European industrial leaders and businesses to collaborate more to innovate on a scale which will allow European companies to compete better on the global stage.
Also at the CECE Congress in Madrid this morning; Professor Mario Weitz, of the ESIC Business School, said he had noticed more dogs being walked in city parks than children playing, which underlines Europe’s evolving demographic problem for industry. We need more young and more highly technically trained innovators to reindustrialise in the age of changing supply chains and a disturbing geopolitical situation.
