The Nepal Government is inviting interested bidders from all over the world to submit their bids without prequalification for construction and upgrade work for the Mahendra Highway. The Mahendra Highway is the longest National Highway in Nepal and connects East and West of Nepal.
The project will upgrade the Kamala-Dhalkebar- Bagmati Road section of Mahendra Highway, totaling 75km in three packages, starting from chainage Km 238+030 to Km 312+785. The existing road will be upgraded from two lanes to four lanes, along with service lanes, structures, bridges and other features, including defect notification period.
The department of road, development cooperation implementation division, strategic road connectivity & trade improvement project; the Employer has sub-divided the project into 3 Road sections as follows; Lot 1: covers section Km 238+030 to km 260+100, whereas Lot 2 and Lot 3 begin respectively as Lot 2: from Km 260+100 to Km 289+840 and Lot 3: from Km 289+840 to Km 312+785.
The bid submission deadline is set for May 10th, 2024. Eligible Bidders can submit the bid in hard copy or electronically.
