French excavator and loader manufacturer 2441 Mecalac Group will launch its MCR6 compact excavator at 688 Bauma. The machine, seen in prototype form at last year’s 242 INTERMAT show, has a travel speed of up to 10km/h and can be used as both a skid steer loader and an excavator. Built at a new site in Turkey, the MCR6 weighs in at 6 tonnes and is powered by a 55kW (75hp) engine.
