Manitowoc increases its dealer service back-up

Manitowoc Crane Care is expanding its EnCORE dealer programme. Danish company UN Mobilkraner, which has worked with Manitowoc since 1994, now offers certified repair and refurbishment services for Grove mobile cranes in Scandinavia, under the Manitowoc Crane Care brand. To qualify for the program, dealers must invest considerable time in training technical staff, including advanced training for welders to earn the correct certifications for welding structural components on cranes.

To qualify for the program, dealers must invest considerable time in training technical staff, including advanced training for welders to earn the correct certifications for welding structural components on cranes. Each dealer must also add a trained structural engineer to its staff to interface directly with Manitowoc on technical issues. Manitowoc Crane Care provides full commercial, technical and financial support for all EnCORE Partners. The program is designed to give customers a cost-effective fleet management solution that not only extends the service life of a crane but ensures any repair and refurbishment work is done to the highest standards.
