At INTERMAT, 2254 Dana Holding will show its Spicer TZL16 powershift transmission developed to suit wheeled loaders in the 17-tonne sector.
TZL16 is a new four-speed transmission that uses proven components from the Spicer powershift range, including high-energy-capacity forward and reverse clutches, adaptive clutch modulation, and helical gears to deliver a robust transmission with improved shift quality.
With a rating of 150-180 kW, the transmission meets the need for higher power output equipment and offers reduced maintenance, and smoother, quieter operation.
An improved TZL18 version designed for 21-tonne front-end loaders is expected to follow.
Dana Rexroth’s HVT R3 is a hydro-mechanical variable transmission for wheeled loaders with engine outputs of up to 265kW and is the first power split transmission from the joint venture between Dana and Bosch Rexroth.
The Spicer 318 HCVT from Dana Holding is for wheeled loaders with six- to nine-tonne operating weights and telescopic boom handlers with six- to 10 tonnes lift capacities.
