On the back of a record-breaking event in 2018 the organisers of the UK’s Hillhead Exhibition have extended the event once again for 2020.
The 2018 event was supported by 546 exhibitors and attracted an independently audited attendance of nearly 20,000.
With outdoor space on track to be sold out by late autumn, an additional 2,200m² of stand space has been created in the quarry floor by extending the showground into the quarry face demonstration area.

For the 2018 event, a number of large machines were being shown for the first time, including units from Komatsi, 359 Volvo CE, 2991 Powerscreen, 2992 Keestrack, 325 Sandvik and 8598 EvoQuip.

In the United Kingdom, work is nearing completion on extending the showground area in preparation for Hillhead 2016.
In total, around 16,000tonnes of material have been excavated from an old tip area to create just under 2,000m2 of additional exhibitor space near the southern JCB end of the site.
The show takes place from 28–30 June 2016 at Hillhead Quarry, near Buxton, Derbyshire in England.
