Gatso wins Netherlands section control enforcement contract

Gatso and the Traffic Enforcement Team of the National Public Prosecutor’s Office have signed a contract for a new section control system on one of the directions of the A2 highway in the Netherlands. According to Willebrord Freijsen, the team's director, director, the order was assigned to Gatso following a European tender procedure in which the company realised an excellent score.

RSS5308 Gatso and the Traffic Enforcement Team of the National Public Prosecutor’s Office have signed a contract for a new section control system on one of the directions of the A2 highway in the Netherlands. According to Willebrord Freijsen, the team's director, director,  the order was assigned to Gatso following a European tender procedure in which the company realised an excellent score.

Gatso will be responsible for both the installation and maintenance of the speed enforcement system to be implemented on the A2 highway between Amsterdam and Utrecht, the most important connection between the North and the South of the Netherlands. The administration and maintenance will be taken care of by Gatso for a period of eight years, with Q-Free Netherlands, acting as sub-contractor, providing the licence plate recognition software.
