A US$250 million loan has been agreed for a huge motorway upgrade scheme in southern Brazil. The first preliminary tender announcement, for the Antonio Heil motorway, should be presented before the end of January 2013.
In total, the Pacto por Santa Catarina is expected to involve the investment of $1.37 billion to improve 30% of the state's roads.
