This will mark the 60th anniversary of the law signed by president Eisenhower that kicked-off the funding and construction of the US Interstate Highway System. The event will explore what the Interstates of the future should look like. Senate Environment & Public Works Committee Chairman Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) will deliver the keynote address. Confirmed speakers participating in the panel discussion include Pat Thomas, senior vice president, state government affairs, UPS; Brad Dean, president & CEO, Myrtle Beach (SC) Chamber of Commerce; Jeff Paniati, executive director and chief executive officer, Institute of Transportation Engineers.
