Fecon says that its FTX128 tracked carrier suits duties in compact milling operations for jobs such as road patching. The unit can be used to mill asphalt up to 102cm wide and 15cm deep when fitted with compatible cold planer attachments such as the Coneqtec-Universal AP1000. The carrier features high flow rates for its hydraulic circuits and can deliver 170-227litres/min to the planer attachment.

Fecon is looking to establish itself in the seismic and geothermal drilling markets after acquiring Dyno-Drill. Fecon’s new FTX100 LGP mulching tractor is said by the company to be ideal for right of way clearing, site prep and many other forestry applications. Equipped with a 99hp Kubota V3800, the FTX100 LGP has a heavier undercarriage than the original machine. It offers both 40cm and 51cm track shoe options in single or triple grouser. These options are said to allow the contractor to outfit the machine for rough terrain or soft ground conditions where a light footprint or reduced ground disturbance is important.
