It provides visibility on how the whole network is performing and improves cooperation between control centers and coordination of incident response. It also supports improved equipment fault management, disaster recovery redundancy and continuous control room operation.
NTS also delivers information to travellers helping them Plan and adjust their journeys in real time via dissemination of information through roadside infrastructure and smart media including internet, phone/fax/SMS/email, and via radio and TV channels.
NTS supports Trafikverket’s national multimodal transport responsibilities and positively affects everyone in Sweden, from the local to the national level, and places Trafikverket at the leading edge of transportation management technology solutions.
