Micro surfacing solutions was one of the major exhibits at the IRF exhibition among other products.
Sharing details with World Highways on the utility of micro surfacing solutions, Debatosh Roy, director, Innovative Infratech from India said, “The solution is technically more competitive than hot-mix as it is almost 30% cheaper than the latter. Further, the solution is most ideal to be used inside the cities and towns. This is because being a cold application it comes with zero emissions. Being a cold application, it does away with the issues of right temperature retention for getting the right compaction by the contractors.” The company also showed its Esmac Pr, ready-mix pothole repair compound and VSS Macropavers.
Indian micro surfacing and slurry seal paver maker Tashimicromac, shared information on its TMS 10K paver. Speaking on the competitive attributes of the paver, Manish Agarwal, technical director, Tashi Micro Surfacing Systems said, “The TMS 10K is a paver that comes with a range of advanced features. This includes an additive dosing system and simplified user-friendly spreader box, in addition to the chemical resistant stainless steel additive tank, additive and water pipelines and pneumatically operated flow control valves. The systems ensure the lowest levels of interference in paver operations. This also makes it easier for semi-skilled operators to work on the machine.”
